Homemade Pesto Sauce

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large garlic cloved, peeled
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper as desired
  1. Wash basil leaves.
  2. Add all ingredients to a small magic bullet cup, blender, or mini food processor and blend until well blended.
  3. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
Makes ½ cup pesto sauce (enough for 2-3 servings of pasta)
