Sautéed Kale with Balsamic Reduction

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups chopped organic kale, rinsed
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet.
  2. Add the sliced garlic and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the kale and stir. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil, then turn down the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and add the balsamic vinegar. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat to low and simmer uncovered until all of the liquid is gone. Stir occasionally.
