Swirled Double Chocolate Peppermint Bark

Ingredients
  • 5 candy canes
  • 1 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Crush the candy canes in a ziplock baggy using a hammer or back of a butterknife.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in two separate double boilers at the same time. You can also microwave them in 30 second increments, stirring with a spoon in between, or in a stainless steel bowl over a little bit of boiling water.
  3. Spread the melted semi-sweet chocolate chips over parchment paper in a baking tray using a spatula.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of melted white chocolate on top, and use a butterknife to swirl all around.
  5. Sprinkle the crushed candy cane pieces on top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 1 hour.
  7. Break the bark into pieces and store in an airtight container.
