Mini Chocolate Heart Cakes |

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup + 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup boiling water
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease four 4-inch ramekins and dust with flour.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a wooden spoon or whisk and transfer evenly to the ramekins.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool to touch, then remove from the ramekins and continue cooling.
- Once cooled, use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes.
- Use any frosting to decorate.
