Happy New Year 2013!

Happy New Year from the Austrian Alps! We have been having a great time on our skiing trip over New Years. We spent New Years Eve at a skiing resort in Austria and shared some glühwein in a cozy bar on the slopes with great music after a fun day skiing. Afterwards we had an amazing dinner at a cozy restaurant covered in snow, we came back just in time for a beautiful firework show!! I hope you all had a great start for 2013. I didn’t make any resolutions this year (I know it’s weird!) because I never keep them! I only wish for health and happiness for our friends and family.

Now we are off to Italy for more skiing, glühwein, hot chocolate, gorgeous scenery and delicious food! Ciao!

I so enjoyed glühwein and banana-nutella crepes while walking around the Weihnachtsmarkt in Konstanz in 1992 when I studied at the Universität Konstanz. This post brought back so many memories. Thanks!
